How does ZA Difference reach the market?
On the Dot — Media 24's distribution arm — is handling retail sales throughout the country.
ZA Difference is available at SPAR, CNA and Exclusive Books — including their airport outlets at airports, nationally.
Complimentary copies are mailed to advertising agencies, media houses, public libraries, educational institutions, embassies, aid and charity organisations, faith-based organisations, chambers of commerce, the CSI and marketing departments of large corporations, as well as national, regional and municipal government leaders throughout the country.
The magazine is also increasingly available on street corners throughout South Africa, facilitated by participating chambers of commerce, charity organisations, retirement homes, churches, etc.
[Street sellers, by the way, earn R4.95 of the cover price. The participating institution earns R1.00 — our contribution towards job creation in South Africa.]
Unlike the fate of unsold copies of all other magazines, ZA Difference is not pulped, but returned to be re-distributed, free of charge, to disadvantaged communities throughout South Africa.
All issues of ZA Difference carry the following tagline: Not for sale by street vendors after the last day of the month of publication ... Unsold copies are re-distributed free to disadvantaged communities.
